Here is the video clip taken by some of the passengers in the cable car towards the Manakamana Temple. We can see in the video how the cable car was stuck and swinging on because of hurricane. Sudden windstorm occurred in the Kathmandu Valley on the evening has affected the normal life of people of valley and around. Due to the hurricane occurred suddenly has injured 11 people of Kathmandu Valley and one has died too. Moreover, lots of vehicles are said to been overwhelmed by the tree in various parts that had been fell from strong wind. Nearly nine months the aftershocks of quake coming meanwhile when the full sky became dark at the day time and came a violent hurricane due to which fear among the people are increasing. People have been staying temporarily in the tent at the safe place of Kathmandu’s Tundhikhel after an earthquake but the same tents have been residue by the heavy storm. Due to the sudden hurricane, lots of sectors have been affected. Due to the terrible hurricane, the roads of Kathmandu Valley were affected; Tribhuvan International Airport too has been stopped for some moment. Similarly, the hurricane even has affected in the cable car. Cable cars that are heading towards the Manakamana Temple too have stopped their service due to the horrible hurricane. The cable cars that are going towards the temple are stopped on the middle of the way as it can’t head forward because of strong wind. We can see in the video, how the cable car are stopped at the mid of the way and is swinging because of the wind. People are being panic inside the cable car after it started to swing heavily due to windstorm. Scroll
